Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Indianapolis is seeking a seasoned energy management leader for Critical Facilities-Data Centers. You will oversee energy management across electrical, mechanical, chemical, and thermal systems on construction projects.

Responsibilities include approving energy permits, driving decisions on energization, leading root-cause analyses, overseeing subcontractors, enforcing LOTO, and coaching project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of applicable electrical trades experience with energy control expertise.
• Extensive knowledge of LOTO, NFPA codes, and 70E electrical safety practices.
• Advanced knowledge of MEP systems and ability to read complex drawings.
• Ability to interpret contract docs, owner requirements, drawings and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee energy management permits and coordinate with stakeholders for review and approval.
• Drive decision making impacting energization on projects and lead RCA efforts.
• Lead or participate in root-cause analyses and manage disputes with subcontractors and leadership.
• Oversee subcontractor development and ensure proper LOTO adherence and permit approvals.
• Develop and conduct electrical safety training and assess implementation on-site.
• Verify and maintain accurate single-line diagrams and commissioning processes.
• Coach and mentor project teams; participate in hiring, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Other duties as assigned.
