Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an installer to travel to pre-scheduled appointments and install energy-efficient equipment for residential and small commercial customers. The role includes presenting incentive programs, maintaining records, and meeting safety and quality standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1–3 years in related tech fields, and 1–2 years in customer service. Up to 95% travel may be required; valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC, troubleshooting and/or related technologies.
• 1–2 years of previous customer service/sales experience required.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• Experience installing technologies, manual labor and using tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install energy efficient equipment and products at pre-scheduled appointments per procedures.
• Provide a professional appearance appropriate for a company rep.
• Explain incentive programs to customers and trade partners.
• Complete and maintain paperwork and inventories.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Travel up to 95% to residential and small commercial sites.
