Job summary

The Perillo Group is seeking a Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead commercial electrical projects across the Southeast. The role requires hands-on field leadership, coordinating crews and schedules, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Candidates should be experienced with electrical drawings, NEC standards, and coordinating with general contractors and inspectors. Extensive travel in GA, FL, AL, and MS is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent or senior field leader.
• Experience overseeing commercial electrical projects.
• Willingness to travel across GA, FL, AL, MS.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day electrical field operations on commercial construction projects.
• Lead and coordinate electricians, foremen, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and daily work activities.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, other trades, inspectors, and customers.
• Monitor project schedules and help keep work on track.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, NEC requirements, and applicable codes.
• Maintain jobsite safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Identify field issues early and work with project leadership to resolve them.
• Track project progress and communicate field updates to project management.
• Assist with material planning, deliveries, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.

Location: Traveling – Georgia, Florida, Alabama & Mississippi Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Commercial Electrical Construction We are working with an established commercial electrical contractor looking to add an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to its field leadership team. This position will oversee commercial electrical projects throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing electrical crews on commercial construction projects and is comfortable traveling throughout the Southeast. This is a hands-on field leadership position for someone who can keep projects organized, maintain schedules, coordinate with other trades, and ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.

• Experience overseeing projects from mobilization through completion
• Ability to manage crews and coordinate multiple areas of work
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and commercial electrical systems
• Knowledge of NEC requirements and standard construction safety practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to travel extensively throughout GA, FL, AL, and MS
• Valid driver's license
• Preferred Experience
• Experience with commercial projects such as: Retail Hospitality Office and corporate facilities Healthcare Education Multifamily Industrial or light industrial facilities Other large commercial construction projects
