Job summary

Clark Electric is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead commercial electrical construction projects across the Southeast. This role will oversee field operations, supervise crews, maintain schedules, and ensure quality workmanship and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in leadership roles in commercial electrical construction, Journeyman license, OSHA 10/30 certifications, and the ability to travel as required. Travel, pre-employment screening, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar leadership role in commercial electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, NEC, OSHA regulations, and construction methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Experience managing crews, schedules, labor, and materials.
• Journeyman License and OSHA 10/30 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations on commercial electrical projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate field crews.
• Plan labor, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, local codes, and company quality standards.
• Monitor labor productivity, job costs, and material usage.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
• Maintain daily reports, three-week look-ahead schedules, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Complete punch lists and ensure timely project closeout.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive commercial electrical experience, and a commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work overhead, and perform the physical demands of a commercial construction jobsite.
