Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager to oversee electrical projects, primarily in data centers, across diverse locations. You will support the Project Manager from initiation to close, ensure NEC compliance, and coordinate a team of electricians while traveling regularly.

The role requires a strong background in electrical project management, a Journeyman Electrician license, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project management.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Experience with data centers, data, power, and electrical construction.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and safety standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with clients and teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites.
• Proficiency with project management software; degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager across initiation to closure.
• Ensure electrical installations meet NEC and safety standards.
• Coordinate Journeyman Electricians and team members on sites.
• Manage resources and timelines within budget.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders with updates.
• Support in preparing proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Update plans reflecting scope changes; travel to sites as needed.
