Jobot is seeking a Permanent Traveling Electrical Project Manager to lead full life cycle electrical projects, with regular travel to data center sites. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost control, while delivering on-time project completion.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical construction, data centers, and leadership, supported by a Journeyman certification and 5+ years of experience. ESOP, bonus programs, and a vehicle allowance enhance the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in electrical construction and data centers.
• Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Journeyman certification is a must.
• Proven experience with 480 electrical systems, data, and power.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion, including design, construction, and commissioning.
• Regularly travel to project sites to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, using a strong understanding of 480 electrical systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
• Regularly update management and stakeholders on project status.
• Continually identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
