Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager to oversee electrical projects, primarily in data centers, across multiple locations. The role requires a Journeyman Electrician license, 5+ years of PM experience, and strong NEC knowledge. Expect frequent travel, competitive compensation, ESOP, and a vehicle allowance as part of the package.

You will support project execution, coordinate teams, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality across sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in electrical project management, preferably in engineering.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Proven data center, data, power, and electrical construction experience.
• Strong project management, multitasking, and deadline skills.
• Deep knowledge of NEC and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites.
• Experience with project management software and office tools.
• Ability to develop proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager from initiation to closure.
• Ensure electrical installations meet NEC and safety standards.
• Supervise Journeyman Electricians and field teams.
• Manage resources, timelines, and budgets to meet scope.
• Perform site inspections and safety audits.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support preparation of proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Update project plans for scope changes.
• Travel to diverse project sites to oversee on-site activities.
