Job summary

EC Electric, Inc. seeks an Assistant Project Manager for our National Tech Systems team to travel across the United States and support multiple jobsites.

The role partners with construction project management and field staff to coordinate documentation, schedules and budgets. You will assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and billing, maintain logs in Viewpoint, and help ensure timely, accurate owner documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating project documentation including submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications at a basic level.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills for multiple sites.
• Willingness to travel across the United States and work with field staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Assist with supervision and directing project activities and coordinating with PMs to resolve issues and maintain policies.
• Maintain change order, submittal and document control logs in Viewpoint.
• Assist PM and PX with subcontractor communications to obtain correct drawings and manuals.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files under PM or PX guidance.
• Assist with developing workflow breakdowns with Field Supervisors and Project Managers.
