Job summary

Universal Electrical Service, Inc. in the United States seeks a Traveling Electrical Construction Manager to lead data center projects, coordinate traveling crews, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence across multiple sites.

You will review drawings, manage manpower, vendors and equipment, develop execution plans, and mentor Leads, Foremen and Journeymen while traveling as required by project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical construction projects and field operations.
• Ability to review drawings and specs to identify labor, material, and scheduling needs.
• Experience coordinating manpower, vendors, inspections, and logistics.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and accountability.
• Willingness to travel to data center sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale electrical construction projects from planning through completion.
• Develop schedules, milestones and execution plans to keep on track.
• Coordinate front-end design, material planning, equipment needs and logistics.
• Schedule vendors, contractors and equipment deliveries.
• Prepare job status and labor-hour reports.
• Conduct post-project reviews to align field operations with the office.
• Travel to data center locations to support site coordination and workforce planning.
• Provide guidance to Leads, Foremen, Journeymen and Apprentices.
• Support staffing and ensure safety and quality across field operations.
