Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts and ensure safe dispensing and immunization practices.

The role requires travel within a reasonable radius, strong patient care focus, and adherence to pharmacy laws and CVS policies. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district as assigned by the District Performance Coordinator.
• Support pharmacy teams in stores within the district and act as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and guardrails to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and immunization practices.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations when acting as the on-duty pharmacist.
• Provide compassionate patient care, coaching the team to deliver quality service and address insurance or medication issues.
