Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps across stores within the district, under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader, supporting pharmacy teams and ensuring safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

Travel within a reasonable radius is required; you will work weekends, complete required trainings, coach the team on patient service, and help deliver pharmacist clinical care such as immunizations where permissible.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, verify prescription information.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively help people, engage with patients.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate tabs, days’ supply, and bottle counts.
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions with appropriate action.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, and maintain visual acuity.
