Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to travel within the district, cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, and support pharmacy operations across stores. You will model our values, ensure safe dispensing, provide immunizations where permissible, and assist with patient care and insurance interactions.

The role requires active state pharmacist licensure, an active NPI, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator.
• Overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assist in management of pharmacy inventory and protect cold chain products.
• Cultivate compassionate patient care and coach staff to deliver quality clinical services.
