Job summary

Firehouse Subs, through V1 Restaurant Group, is seeking a District Manager/Area Manager to lead five restaurant GMs across Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin, Keizer and McMinnville. The role requires regular travel, hands-on coaching and a focus on guest experience, financial performance and staff development.

You will work directly with ownership, visit restaurants, and build a high-performing leadership bench while ensuring adherence to Firehouse Subs standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of direct multi-unit restaurant leadership.
• Experience leading GMs and managing restaurant financial results.
• Strong understanding of P&L, cost controls and profitability.
• Willingness to travel regularly among all five locations.
• Ability to coach and develop managers, supervisors and shift leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and hold GMs accountable for clear operating expectations and results.
• Recruit and develop GMs and shift leaders; build succession plans.
• Visit restaurants regularly to observe peak periods and reinforce best practices.
• Review each location's P&L and translate findings into action plans with owners.
• Improve food cost through inventory control, ordering, portioning and waste management.
• Maintain Firehouse Subs standards for food safety, cleanliness, product quality and guest experience.
• Partner with GMs on staffing, onboarding, retention and scheduling to support service and profitability.
• Drive sales through consistent execution, catering and community relations.
• Establish a weekly operating rhythm of visits, coaching and performance updates.
