Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Project Manager for a full-time traveling assignment in support of Advanced Technology projects, including Data Centers and related market segments. You will supervise engineering staff and coordinate information flow across the project team.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of related experience, with strong cost control, BIM/Lean capabilities, and excellent communication. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and cost control procedures.
• Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principles.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Turner's Project Management and scheduling software desirable.
• Ability to implement BIM and Lean to benefit the project.
• Ability to thoroughly understand drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Excellent oral and written communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise engineering staff at the project level.
• Coordinate information transfer between project field operations and office staff.
• Ensure safety, ethics, and compliance requirements are met.
• Oversee communication of information among all project team members.
• Establish procedures with design professionals, owners, and subs for information flow.
• Support GMPs and budgeting with Preconstruction, Estimating, and Purchasing.
• Review construction documents for constructability and QA/QC.
• Prepare procurement schedules for subcontractors and major purchases.
• Lead subcontract change order processes and owner approvals.
• Manage project close-out, warranties, and records retention.
