Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Traveling Superintendent for mission-critical construction projects, primarily data centers, on-site in Sullivan, Indiana with travel back home every other weekend. The role requires leadership of field operations, coordination of subcontractors, and rigorous safety and schedule discipline.

You will manage ground-up construction activities over 100k sq ft, ensuring project completion on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of construction experience as a superintendent on data center projects ≥100k sq ft.
• Willingness to work on a traveling site, Sullivan, Indiana with travel stipends to home every other weekend.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling programs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet physical demands of field work.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in post-award kickoff and preconstruction planning meetings.
• Develop and manage construction activity sequences, staffing and equipment requirements.
• Direct the total construction project to meet specs, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with project schedules.
• Maintain daily project diary and provide timely progress and cost reporting.
• Support safety program adherence and communicate changes to supervisors and owner representatives.
