Job summary

ARCO Design/Build seeks a seasoned superintendent to lead data center construction in Sullivan, Indiana. The role focuses on site safety, schedule management, and on-site leadership to bring projects in on time and within budget.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage field operations from day one, and ensure quality and compliance with project specs. Strong communication and logistics skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of construction experience as a superintendent on data center projects ≥100k sq ft.
• Willingness to work on-site in Sullivan, Indiana with travel stipends paid every other weekend.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Able to meet physical demands (standing/walking long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to obtain project information for preplanning.
• Assist with schedule development, staff assignment, and resource planning.
• Direct and control the construction project to meet specs and timelines.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate with schedules and progress.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, PO's, invoices, and other key documents.
• Maintain daily diary of significant project facts and decisions.
• Ensure adherence to ARCO safety program across all phases.
