Job summary

ARCO National Construction is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead data center and mission-critical design-build projects across the United States. You will own site execution from post-award through project completion, lead subcontractors, maintain schedules, enforce safety and quality, and partner with the project manager to deliver successful projects for our clients.

This role requires 5–25 years as Lead Superintendent with data center experience, willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 5–25 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent, with at least 5 years in data center construction or mission critical projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the United States.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing or walking for long periods, uneven terrain, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects from preconstruction through punch list.
• Direct subcontractors and resolve conflicts to keep projects on track.
• Support construction schedule with activity sequencing, manpower, and equipment planning.
• Ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and targets profitability.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, field orders, invoices, and key project documents.
• Maintain constant communication with the project team about progress, plans, and issues.
• Complete daily reports documenting key project details, events, conditions, visitors, client interactions, commitments, and approvals.
• Enforce adherence to the company's safety program in all phases of the project.
• Lead with integrity and a commitment to quality, upholding company values and exceeding client expectations.
