Job summary

Renovo Construction, an affiliate of DLC, seeks a Traveling Superintendent to lead on-site activity across multiple retail projects. You will travel to job sites nationwide, supervise subcontractors and laborers, and ensure safety and timely execution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of commercial supervision, experience estimating for retail centers, and proficiency with HVAC, electrical and plumbing. Travel is a core aspect of the role, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Ground up construction experience required.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in commercial construction.
• Experience estimating for retail real estate/shopping centers.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc.
• Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction with oversight of subcontractors, vendors and laborers.
• Plan, oversee and maintain site safety per OSHA requirements and site organization.
• Manage implementation of project documents with subcontractors.
• Create and update the 2-week look ahead weekly.
• Collaborate with client and property team to maintain critical path schedule.
