Job summary

Renovo Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee on-site construction across multiple locations and to manage subcontractors, vendors and laborers. This role requires ground-up experience and a minimum of 5 years in commercial construction, with advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and drywall.

You will travel to various job sites, ensure safety compliance, manage schedules and collaborate with clients and property teams to maintain critical paths.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience in commercial construction.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and scheduling work.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction and oversee subcontractors, vendors and laborers.
• Plan, oversee and maintain site safety (OSHA) and site organization.
• Manage project documents with subcontractors.
• Create and update the 2-week look ahead weekly.
• Collaborate with client and property team to identify and maintain critical path schedule.
• Ground up experience a MUST.
• Travel to multiple job sites as required.
• Ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

About the Role:

As a Traveling Superintendent with Renovo Construction, you will travel to job sites and have the opportunity to live in different parts of the country throughout the duration of the project. You will be responsible for:

• Managing on-site construction and with overseer of our Subcontractors, Vendors and Laborers
• Planning, overseeing and maintaining site safety (OSHA requirements) and site organization.
• Managing the implementation of the project documents with subcontractors
• Creating and updating the 2-week look ahead every week.
• Collaborating with client and property team to identify and maintain the critical path schedule.
• Ground up experience a MUST
• Minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience in commercial construction
• Advanced knowledge of associated trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc.
• Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to travel

The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
