We are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead retail and distribution center construction projects across the country. This hands‑on field leader will oversee large‑scale commercial work, including ground‑up builds, remodels, and interior fit‑outs for major national retail clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and excels at coordinating complex job sites with multiple subcontractors, trades, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site construction activities from mobilization through project close‑out, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance
• Direct and coordinate field operations, subcontractors, and vendors across multiple phases of construction
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and workmanship to ensure projects meet client expectations
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, architects, owners, and inspectors to resolve field challenges and maintain progress
• Conduct daily site inspections, document work performed, and prepare detailed reports for internal and client review
• Oversee site logistics planning, safety meetings, manpower coordination, and schedule updates
• Manage field communications, change orders, and coordination with local jurisdictions and regulatory officials
• Support project start‑up, commissioning, turnover, and close‑out while maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications
