Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Houston seeks a seasoned lead superintendent for ground-up, cold storage, and light industrial projects (≥100k sq ft). You will drive field operations, plan schedules, manage subcontractors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with a strong safety focus.

You will oversee project execution from preplanning to completion, coordinate resources, and report progress while maintaining project controls and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience with 5+ years as lead superintendent on large warehouses or distribution centers (min 100k sq ft).
• Recent experience in the Southeast region and willingness to travel nationally.
• Proven ability to manage field operations from planning through project completion within schedule and budget.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet physical job demands.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award reviews and plan preconstruction activities.
• Develop construction schedules, staffing plans, and equipment requirements.
• Direct total project execution to meet specs, time, and cost targets.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure alignment with schedules.
• Maintain daily project diary and communicate progress to stakeholders.
