Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking an experienced lead superintendent to manage field operations for ground-up warehouse and distribution center projects 100k sq ft and larger. This role requires driving project success from day one, ensuring on-time completion within budget, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will oversee scheduling, resource coordination, subcontractor management, and close collaboration with project managers and owners.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience, with lead superintendent exposure on large warehouse or distribution center projects

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings for preplanning details
• Help prepare construction activity schedules and resource plans
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule
• Assist with procurement, shop drawings, and material deliveries
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate with project schedules and progress
• Maintain clear communication with owners, architects, and representatives
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs
• Review requisitions, field PO's, invoices, and major reports
• Support safety program adherence on all project phases
• Lead/site meetings with PM and regional manager
• Report project progress and risks to PM regularly
• Maintain daily diary of significant project facts and events
• Demonstrate leadership in challenging environments and resolve conflicts
• Ensure quality by monitoring processes and customer expectations
• Uphold company values and integrity in client interactions
