Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Northern Louisiana seeks an experienced construction professional to support Superintendents and Foremen on multiple projects. You will oversee trade labor hire, transfers, and layoffs, and coordinate field assignments to meet project needs.

Travel is extensive (90–100%), with a requirement to travel at least 50% of the time. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience, plus proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and SharePoint, are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of related experience or equivalent mix of education and training.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office, SAP and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to travel 50%+ of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Operations Manager for assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
• Assign and coordinate trade field assignments with project needs.
• Support Superintendent throughout the job duration.
• Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foremen and maintain ROJ dates.
• Document field issues impacting budget, quality or schedule for PM review.
• Respond to subcontractor field-issue requests affecting budget, quality or schedule.
• Oversee development and maintenance of a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
• Guide QA/QC program implementation on projects.
• Identify Self-Perform opportunities and assist in developing Self-Perform proposals.
• Manage Self-Perform performance and align with BU Safety program.
