Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking experienced professionals to support Superintendents and Foremen on multi-project sites in Northern Louisiana. The role oversees trade labor hire, transfer and layoff and reports to Deputy Operations Manager and Operations Manager.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of related experience, strong communication skills, ability to travel 50%+, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP/SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office suite, SAP and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Operations Manager for assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
• Assign and coordinate all trade field assignments with project needs.
• Support Superintendent throughout the duration of the job.
• Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foremen and provide ROJ dates to the PM team.
• Document field issues impacting budget, quality or schedule and report to PM team.
• Respond to subcontractor requests that impact budget, quality or schedule.
• Oversee development and maintenance of Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
• Guide QA/QC program implementation on projects.
• Identify self-perform opportunities and assist in developing Self-Perform proposals.
• Manage Self-Perform performance.
• Collaborate with BU Safety Director to implement Safety Program.
• Review capabilities and progress for field tradespeople.
• Maintain progression/succession plans for high-potential tradesmen.
• Manage training for tradesmen.
• Support Development of operational plans with BD, Estimating and PXs.
• Assist in logistics planning during pre-construction and early activities.
