Job summary

EPI Power is seeking a Project Safety Manager to lead safety on our Des Moines project. You will develop safety plans, audit site practices, and partner with project teams to uphold company safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30, and strong communication skills. This full-time role requires up to six days per week and a commitment to a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of the project safety plan.
• Track and trend project safety performance and recommend corrective measures.
• Verify project team adherence to safety management processes.
• Assist project teams with enforcement of safety programs, including drafting letters and issuing safety violations.
• Facilitate project safety committees.
• Conduct project-wide safety training.
• Coordinate and communicate site safety activities with the Project Manager.
• Support regulatory safety compliance and safety audits.
• Encourage innovative thinking to increase project safety awareness.
