Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc is seeking a Traveling Construction Field Manager to support multiple divisions of the construction department. You will oversee and direct construction management for projects and teams, coordinating bidding, inspections, and construction with focus on quality within schedule and budget.

Significant travel is required based on business needs. Responsibilities include leading project planning, resource management, contractor oversight, cost control, safety program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or related discipline required, or demonstrated equivalent proficiency.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in construction, development, or engineering with strong project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Experience in planning and construction of large-scale buildings and major sitework.
• Experience in estimating and preparing change orders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and manage multiple large-scale building and site development projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Lead progress reporting, contractor management, and issue resolution.
• Assist with project planning, resourcing, and staffing; ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
• Monitor contractor performance and recommend schedule or cost adjustments as needed.
• Oversee project schedules and allocate team resources to meet deadlines.
• Ensure quality, reliability, schedule, and cost targets are met; provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Promote safety and implement applicable safety programs and policies.
• Review contracts and statements of work to understand scope, funding, and resources.
• Develop and maintain client and subcontractor relationships; liaison on contractual matters.
