Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction activities across its portfolio.

Reporting to Senior Project Manager(s), you will assist with planning, onsite management, and documentation, coordinating pre-construction activities, inspections, and project close-out. The role requires travel to projects, collaboration with clients, contractors, and consultants, and obtaining necessary security clearances for installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED with construction experience required.
• 1–3 years professional experience in construction, development, or engineering.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, monitoring, and managing multiple construction projects.
• Verify contractor and project completion per plans and specifications.
• Assist with project planning, resourcing, progress reporting, and contractor management.
• Monitor schedules, costs, and resource changes.
• Support field and office with submittals, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate RFP, RFI, ASI, IDC processes.
• Travel to projects and obtain security clearances for installations.
