Job summary

Terracon in the United States is seeking a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to support 100% travel across the Eastern Midwest division, including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

You will perform field testing and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel, report data to the Project Manager, and maintain equipment and safety standards on every site. This role also offers opportunities for professional growth within Terracon.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months experience required.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and for extended periods of time without home time.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel).
• Transport samples and documents to the laboratory for testing and analysis.
• Prepare and submit data and observations in reports to the Terracon Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Adhere to safety standards on all projects.
