This position involves travel, and applicants must live within a two-hour radius of one of our offices in Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky, or Michigan.

In this role, you will travel 100% of the time to work on high-profile projects such as transportation, commercial buildings, wind farms, and more across various geographical areas. This is ideal for someone who enjoys traveling, working on diverse projects, and advancing their construction material testing career.

General Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites as assigned.
• Assist with sampling and perform basic tests on soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, and asphalt under supervision.
• Document testing data and communicate results effectively to project teams.
• Progressively take on more responsibilities and training.
• Maintain calibration and safety of testing equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and report safety concerns.
• Ensure quality standards and teamwork on all projects.
• Transport materials safely using a company vehicle.

Requirements

• Must be willing to travel 100%.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience or training.
• Proficiency with laptops and MS Office.
• ACI certification in at least one area: Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I, Concrete Strength Testing Technician, or Radiation Safety/Nuclear Density Gauge operation.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

Preferred Certifications

• NICET Level II in Construction Materials Testing or Geotechnical categories.
• ICC certifications in reinforced concrete, structural masonry, or similar.
• AWS or ASNT Level II certifications in welding or nondestructive testing areas.

This position is categorized as 'Remote Only,' with no fixed office workspace, typically working from home or other locations.

The salary range is $19.00-$26.75 per hour, adjusted based on location, experience, and qualifications.
