Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking a Construction Management Representative (CMR) to oversee multiple projects including demolition, site restoration, rehab and new construction. Willingness to travel to remote locations with a lodging allowance is provided.

The candidate must have OSHA 30-hour training, strong written and verbal communication, and proven leadership to manage schedules, costs, and contractor performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in construction management roles.
• OSHA 30-hour safety training is required.
• Experience with MS Excel and cost estimates for change orders.
• Experience reviewing designs, shop drawings, and constructability.
• Willingness to travel across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with clients, occupants, architects/engineers, and contractors.
• Manage project schedule from inception to close out.
• Review contractor work for plan and specification compliance.
• Review and approve contractor monthly requisitions and invoices.
• Efficient change order management and cost control.
• Report on project issues and provide status updates.
• Perform other duties as may be required.
