Job summary

Veit is seeking a Site Superintendent/Foreman to manage daily foundation project activities on site in Minnesota. You will lead crews, coordinate with senior supervision, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance across multiple jobs.

Core duties include directing lead personnel, scheduling subcontractors, and maintaining documentation while upholding Veit's safety standards and policies. Strong communication and field problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience overseeing a crew responsible for installation of deep foundation systems.
• Experience installing/overseeing piledriving, micropiles, caisson, and helical piles.
• 5+ years’ experience with foundation/ground improvement equipment (drills, concrete pumps, batch plants).
• Ability to oversee multiple jobs simultaneously while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule.
• OSHA 30-hour, HAZWOPER, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, First Aid.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, reports, construction plans, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities for foundations projects, ensuring safety, design, budget, and schedule.
• Direct lead personnel and staff on each project site.
• Communicate with General Superintendents regarding workforce and equipment needs.
• Schedule subcontractors and monitor work per contracts.
• Maintain safe working environment and conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Prepare and maintain daily logs, equipment and material schedules, and timecards.
