Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform formwork, placement, and finishing on commercial projects in the Dallas area. The role requires reading drawings, building forms, setting elevations, and assisting with concrete pours on various structures.

The candidate should have strong communication, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands drawings and prints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Maintains safety at all times on site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints for concrete placement.
• Build and assemble wood/metal forms for floors, walls, and structures.
• Set forms to elevations and locations; assist with reinforcement placement.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily Symon forms.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders; maintain safe access around the work area.
• Communicate issues to Foreman/PM regarding materials or safety hazards.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe condition.
• Assist with concrete placement as needed and support other duties.
