B&B Concrete is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete. Responsibilities include forming for floors, walls, columns, and tilt-walls, and assisting with concrete placement.

The role requires reading drawings, constructing forms, verifying elevations, and maintaining safety standards on site. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, elevator cores, stairways, etc.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; may aid in reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using a wide variety of materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using a plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser and/or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager regarding problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• May help signal concrete deliverer to position truck for pouring.
• Observe and comply with all safety policies and guidelines.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
