Job summary

B&B Concrete Contractors is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to support prep, pour, and finish operations for concrete structures in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves forming, placing, and finishing concrete per specifications.

You will read drawings, assemble forms, and coordinate with supervisors on elevations, safety, and material needs. A focus on accuracy and teamwork will contribute to successful project completion on site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints for concrete forms.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, and elevated slabs.
• Set forms to correct elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect and use various forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Set up scaffolding and ladders for work above ground level.
• Communicate safety, material needs, and issues with Foreman or Project Manager.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and maintained.
• Assist with placing concrete as needed and perform other duties.
