Qualifications

• Reading and understanding drawings or prints is required.

• Verify structural accuracy using levels and measuring tools.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and working at height.
• Communicate with foreman and project team about issues and needs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for floors, walls and columns.
• Set and position forms to proper elevations for pours.
• Assist in placing reinforcing steel as required.
• Erect forms using a variety of materials and systems.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Keep scaffolding and ladders in safe condition.
• Coordinate with foreman or project manager on issues or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working order and ready for use.
• Assist with concrete placement and finishing as needed.
