Job summary

AIR Communities is seeking a Traveling Community Operations Support Manager to stabilize operations across a national portfolio. You will step in as acting Community Manager during vacancies, coach onsite teams, and collaborate with regional leaders to drive occupancy, leasing performance, and resident satisfaction.

The role requires up to 75% travel, a strong background in multifamily property management, and the ability to manage complex, high-volume communities while maintaining AIR's

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of multifamily property management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years as a Community Manager overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% throughout the year.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills.
• Proven track record improving occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Community Manager for assigned communities during vacancies and transitions.
• Collaborate with Regional and onsite teams to improve occupancy and leasing performance.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement action plans to drive revenue.
• Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and training to property teams.
• Oversee financial performance including budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead onboarding for newly acquired communities and ensure standardization across processes.
