Job summary

Asset Living seeks a floating TOPS Community Manager Specialist to provide rapid-deployment leadership across multifamily and other communities. This role stabilizes sites during transitions, ensures alignment with policies, and drives occupancy and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities include directing on-site staff, overseeing operations, budgeting, and coordinating with maintenance teams. Travel is required to support assignments nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required to perform on-site responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advanced property management roles.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred to enhance professional qualifications.
• Ability to learn and execute all on-site software functions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned communities in line with Asset Living expectations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety practices, fair housing, and standards.
• Conduct daily property walks, risk assessments, and quality checks.
• Lead the emergency response process while on assignment.
• Provide short-term supervision, coaching, and direction to on-site staff.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training needs as requested.
• Promote teamwork, stability, and performance during transitions.
• Manage rent collection, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Support leasing teams to achieve occupancy goals and stabilize performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance and vendors to ensure timely work.
