AIR Communities is seeking a Traveling Community Operations Support Specialist to drive field operations across our communities, focusing on setup, revenue generation, and customer experience improvements.

This role requires up to 75% travel, with a base near a major airport; candidates should bring cross-functional leadership, operations experience, and a customer-first mindset for success.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Experience in community operations, customer service, and leasing; strong sales know-how.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Technologically proficient with property management systems.
• Experience training staff and providing operational coverage.
• Understanding of budgets and variances preferred.
• Background in process improvement or operations support is a plus.
• Leadership or project management experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Represent operations and support launch, stabilization, or improvement of assigned communities.
• Enhance customer experience through excellent service, supporting resident acquisition and retention.
• Provide hands-on support with day-to-day operations, training on systems and processes, and cover positions as needed.
• Serve as SME on policies and procedures, supporting community teams and central operations.
• Regularly communicate and report to central operations and leadership.
