Job summary

AIR Communities seeks a Traveling Community Operations Support Manager to stabilize operations across a national portfolio. The role requires leadership during vacancies, driving occupancy, and coaching onsite teams with extensive travel.

Expect to oversee budgeting, performance metrics, and onboarding for new communities while partnering with regional leadership to uphold AIR's standards and service levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of multifamily property management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Community Manager overseeing day-to-day property operations.
• Proven ability to lead through change and stabilize operations.
• Strong coaching, team-building, and leadership skills across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as acting Community Manager for assigned communities during vacancies or transitions.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers and onsite teams to improve occupancy, leasing performance, and resident satisfaction.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement plans to drive leasing activity and revenue.
• Provide hands-on coaching and training to community teams.
• Lead onboarding and integration for newly acquired communities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
• Work with leadership on audits, compliance, and corrective actions.
• Be a subject matter expert in operations, leasing, finance, and team development.
