Job summary

Ideal Building Solutions is seeking a Travel Project Leader to oversee on-site roofing operations from mobilization through project closeout. This is a full-time travel position with a 30 days on-site / 5 days off rotation.

You will lead crews, coordinate daily work plans, enforce OSHA safety and PPE rules, perform JHAs, monitor quality, and report progress to the Project Manager and clients. The role requires readiness to travel extensively and work extended hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and field supervisory skills.
• Experience enforcing safety standards and OSHA policies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site roofing operations from mobilization through project closeout.
• Coordinate daily work plans, task assignments, and crew leadership.
• Monitor production to ensure schedule milestones and daily goals are achieved.
• Ensure OSHA safety policies and PPE usage are followed.
• Perform daily JHAs and document safety measures.
• Oversee quality assurance and adherence to specifications and manufacturer standards.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and clients to communicate progress and needs.
