Job summary

Ideal Building Solutions is seeking a seasoned Field Leader to oversee on-site roofing operations, coordinate crews, and ensure project milestones are met. This full-time travel position requires leadership in safety, quality assurance, and client communications across multiple sites.

The role demands extensive field supervision, OSHA compliance, and collaboration with project teams. A valid driver’s license and 7–10+ years in roofing are essential, with 2+ years in leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 7-10+ years in commercial roofing with 2+ years in supervisory/leadership role.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred (required during training).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site roofing operations from mobilization through project closeout.
• Coordinate daily work plans, task assignments, and crew leadership.
• Monitor production to meet schedule milestones and daily goals.
• Enforce OSHA and Ideal safety policies; conduct and submit daily JHAs; ensure PPE use.
