Job summary

Modern Construction Services is seeking an experienced Commercial General Superintendent to lead on-site construction efforts, coordinate subs, manage schedule, and uphold safety and quality across multi-site projects. This traveling role requires a proactive leader who can run projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a construction superintendent or general superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience managing superintendents, coordinating with project managers, and developing field staff.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project; knowledge of Bolt and Avetta is a plus.
• OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR, AED certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site construction activities in line with drawings, specs, and documents.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners, schedule rotations and oversee performance.
• Maintain safe, compliant job sites and enforce safety protocols.
• Develop and maintain three-week look-ahead schedules; manage overall project schedule.
