Job summary

Atlas is seeking qualified Construction Materials Testing professionals for long‑term projects across Amarillo, Abilene, Lubbock, Wichita Falls & Vernon in West Texas. You will perform field testing and inspections, ensuring quality and safety on diverse infrastructure and industrial sites.

Required are at least 2 years of CMT experience, high school diploma, and certifications such as ACI/HAZMAT. Expect extensive travel and possible overnight stays as projects demand.

Qualifications

2+ years of CMT experience required.
Experience with soil density testing and concrete testing.
Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Training completed.
HAZMAT certification highly preferred.
Strong communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

Perform field CMT testing and inspections at sites.
Travel to West Texas construction sites; possible overnight/weekend work.
Conduct soil density testing with nuclear gauge; follow safety procedures.
Test in-place concrete and sample/test procedures.
Document results and report to project team daily.
Support other departments and safety programs.
