Job summary

Atlas is seeking qualified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) technicians for long term projects in West Texas. You will perform field testing and inspections, travel to construction sites, and support quality control on major infrastructure projects with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Requirements include 2+ years CMT experience, Nuclear Density Gauge safety training, HAZMAT certification, and the ability to lift heavy testing equipment; willingness to travel and work extended hours is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience.
• Completion of Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Training and HAZMAT certification.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I is a plus.
• Experience in soil density testing and concrete testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests and inspections as directed by the CMT Manager and Senior Engineer.
• Travel to West Texas construction sites, with potential for overnight/weekend work.
• Operate nuclear density gauge and perform soil density testing.
• Conduct field QC testing of in-place concrete and document results.
• Maintain daily observation and summary reports and communicate with project team.
