Turner Construction Co. seeks a seasoned project leader for a full-time, traveling assignment supporting our Advanced Technology Group on a biotech project in Raleigh, NC.

The role leads multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout and helps secure new work, reporting to the Construction Executive and senior operations leaders. Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 18 years in construction, with strong knowledge of BIM, Lean, cost controls, scheduling, and contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus minimum of eighteen years related experience.
• Deep knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering.
• Ability to seek out and find business opportunities.
• Sales/closing skills in regional markets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced presentation skills.
• Ability to read contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work and schedules.
• Experience with BIM and Lean technologies.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and coordinate all phases of one or more projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Contribute to securing new work for the company.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and design community to support growth.
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to win new work.
• Ensure adherence to ethics and compliance across projects.
• Oversee budget, scheduling, and risk management for multiple projects.
• Lead QA/QC programs and enforce safety protocols.
• Utilize BIM and Lean technologies to benefit projects.
