Turner Construction Company seeks a full-time traveling engineer to support our Advanced Technology Group on a biotech/pharma project. You will manage engineering staff, ensure contract compliance, and drive QA/QC while coordinating with design professionals and subcontractors at Raleigh, NC.

Strong BIM/Lean experience and eight years of related work are preferred. The role emphasizes safety, ethics, and financial oversight, with opportunities to lead procurement, bid packages, and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus minimum of eight years' related experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost control, estimating and scheduling.
• Ability to implement BIM and Lean to benefit the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of contract documents and Turner's standards.
• Lead, supervise and develop all Turner engineering staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics and compliance at all times.
• Manage information flow among project team members and coordinate with design professionals and subcontractors.
• Develop GMP or initial project budget in Preconstruction, lead preconstruction effort for engineering needs.
• Review construction documents for constructability and QA/QC issues and resolve with design professionals.
• Prepare procurement schedules and trade scope documents for bid packages and major purchases.
• Manage project finances, status reporting and close-out processes.
