ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a Battery Storage Traveling Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for BESS and power projects nationwide. You will oversee safety, scheduling, and coordination across electrical, civil, mechanical, and commissioning activities with subcontractors and vendors.

The role requires strong communication and leadership in fast-paced environments, with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Direct experience with BESS, substations, renewable energy, or heavy electrical projects preferred.
• Strong ability to lead traveling project assignments and manage multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site field operations from preconstruction through turnover for BESS and power projects.
• Enforce safety plans, OSHA requirements, and client standards on site.
• Manage overall construction schedule and coordinate electrical, civil, mechanical, and commissioning activities.
• Supervise electrical subcontractors, vendors, and specialty contractors (HV, MV, LV).
• Oversee interconnections, inspections, testing, and commissioning support.
• Lead daily huddles, coordination meetings, and safety talks.
• Maintain site documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and QA/QC records.
