Job summary
Overland Contracting Inc., a Black & Veatch company, is seeking a field-based construction professional to lead the delivery of a Battery Energy Storage System project. You will coordinate site construction activities, support schedule execution, safety performance, cost control, and quality outcomes while working with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Travel to project sites is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide site construction teams with the means, methods, staffing, and field support needed to safely and efficiently deliver Substation and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction work.
- Support EH&S by developing and maintaining safety programs tied to battery storage and substation construction activities.
- Help develop craft training and certification programs for lineman and groundman trades, and assist with staffing plans, equipment needs, and cost reporting for project execution.
