Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee BESS construction across job sites in Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas with required travel. You will lead field operations, mentor staff, manage budgets, and drive safety and quality on multiple projects.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and a thorough understanding of electrical construction and testing. Travel is essential and the position is based on the project location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of applicable work-related experience in utility scale renewable construction and/or industrial electrical construction.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role preferred.
• 3 years of utility scale energy storage construction preferred.
• Licensed electrician or journeyman preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in operations management, budgeting, resource allocation and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of testing and commissioning.
• OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.
• Ability to travel and work in varied environments as required by project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and day-to-day management of energy storage projects.
• Mentor superintendents, assistant superintendents, craft personnel and junior staff.
• Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities and train teams.
• Hire and develop craft labor employees.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for consistency across projects.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control plans and safety procedures.
• Support project schedules, labor/equipment plans and sequencing.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and other departments.
