Job summary
Riverside Casino & Golf Resort is seeking a customer-facing Audio-Visual Field Technician to support live events across multiple locations. You will travel 50–75% to install, test, and operate AV systems, mix live sound, and manage event technology deployment with a focus on guest experience and reliability.
The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and staff while maintaining uptime.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical training in live sound reinforcement or equivalent experience in live sound/AV tech.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in live sound mixing or AV technology.
- Strong guest service mindset and professional communication.
- Ability to travel 50–75% and work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays.
Responsibilities
- Travel to properties to install, test, operate AV systems for live events.
- Mix and manage live sound for performances and events to ensure quality.
- Set up and strike AV equipment; coordinate with event staff and vendors.
- Provide front-line technical support for events and assist users as needed.
- Maintain documentation of setups, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with engineering and third-party vendors to resolve issues.
